It is time to sign up for the Nepal trip, etc. The official travel dates for Nepal: Nov 13-25, Thailand (optional extension) Nov 25-30, North India Dec 1-15.
Important notation: From California, the farthest from the continent to travel anywhere, dates from departure to arrival seem like 72 hours but not really. That means the departure date is Nov 11 to arrive on the 13th. Upon return, you will depart and arrive on the same day.
Nepal: November 13-25. This trip is for hike, hike and more hike on top of the world and designed for the experienced hikers. If you plan to attend, training is necessary. You can hike at your own speed even if you are with advanced hikers. There will be separate guides.
Places to visit begins in Kathmandu to World Heritage sites like Boudhanath, Pashupatinath Swayambhunath and Durbar Square.
Fly to Pokhara from Kathmandu and enjoy the lake there. Then the trekking journey begins to Sarangkot to watch the sunrise.
Pokhara to Birethanti and trek to Ghundruck (6,365 feet) for two hours. From Ghandruk to Chhomrong (7,125 feet) for six hours. From Chhomrong to Bamboo (7,579 feet) for five hours. From Bamboo to Deurali (10,598 feet) for four hours. From Deurali to Annapurna Base Camp (ABC) via Machapuchare Base Camp (13,551 feet) for five to six hours. Return to Bamboo, Jhinu Danda to Nayapul.
The highest point is not even 14,000 feet high. You can do it!
