Mauritius

The adage goes, “When you teach, you learn.” That is exactly what I will be doing. I will be in Mauritius with a welcome from The Abhyas School of Yoga and yogini Alla Kozyreva. Together, we will work, share our knowledge, collaborate, teach and serve humanity. This will be an honor and an experience to treasure. Prior to my visit, I will be visiting their ashram in Mumbai.

Mauritius, an Indian Ocean island nation, is known for its beaches, lagoons and reefs. The mountainous interior includes Black River Gorges National Park, with rainforests, waterfalls, hiking trails and wildlife like the flying fox. Capital Port Louis has sites such as the Champs de Mars horse track, Eureka plantation house and 18th-century Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam Botanical Gardens.

What a treat it is for me to visit, study, practice and teach yoga there.
